South Kensington is located south of Hyde Park and is sandwiched between the larger Kensington area to the west and the trendy Chelsea to the south. South Kensington is home ot many of London's museums, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum. To the east, lies Brompton Road and the famous Harrods Department Store. There is some beautiful architecture in South Kensington and a selection of private boutique style hotels in the area. South Kensington lies on both the District and Circle underground lines as well as the Piccadilly Line, offering easy access to London's Heathrow Airport.
