The accomodation booked was for a single and a twin/double. The twin room was no bigger than the single room booked. If you opened the bathroom door (which opened outwards) it hit one of the twin beds.
I could also open the door to the room from the bed without leaving it and also because the room was so small the door did not open fully.
The bathroom was adequate but again very small, I am 5 foot 1 inch and 9 stone, I was hitting the toilet roll holder next to the toilet everytime I used it and I am not exactly huge!!!!
It was extremely hot but they did supply a fan since there was no air conditioning.
Reception was vey helpful and polite, along with the breakfasting staff.
It was never a double or twin room unless they rename the hotel "Lilliput hotel"!!!!

Excellent hotel at the price

Best Western Phoenix Hotel had everything we asked for. Nice room and fine service. The wireless internet connection worked fine on our phones, but if you are loooking for a good connection for more advanced surfing i would go somewhere else. The breakfast was eatable - and not much more. The hotel is really close to the tube and wonderful Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens/Royal Albert Hall ect.
We will be staying there again!

One night stay at the Phoenix Hotel

The reception was courteous. The room was totally adequate and the breakfast was very good indeed. This is the second time we hav used the hotel and would certianly use it again.
