Shabby hotel

This hotel is listed in the luxury hotels section as being a 4*. We found this hotel to be adequate at best. The hotel decor is shabby - eg: the wallpaper is peeling off the walls in the common areas, and the paint is peeling off doors and windows. The room and ensuite were clean, but our first impression of the room was that it was dirty, due to the shabby appearance of the decor and the furniture.

Approach with caution

It was billed as 4 star hotel but the room was clearly substandard. It had none of the facilities advertised and was basically a very bare 2/3 star hotel room. Wont be staying there again.

It is not a 4 stars hotel.

The main Hall, the room and bathroom can be a 2 stars may be 3 stars, but no more. Good location.

Grosvenor Kensington

Not sure how an hotel can have 4* when it has no restaurant, no air conditioning in the room, no sports channel or films and no plug in the sink! Wireless internet also had to be paid for and the cheapest option was 'not available'.
The staff however, are friendlier than average.
