great surroundings

nice/friendly staff at the reception, but too many noise in the night from young people/groups..., and a bit 'poor'breakfast. Good place, near to paddington

Well , of course, the price of the room was among the cheapest for London BUT I must confess that for that money the room was nothing but borderline acceptable. It was overall clean, a bit noisy, the TV set had no remote control and its front panel was missing some of its command buttons. the breakfast was all but good: i was expecting a typical british breakfast and I only got some toasts and a boiled egg...
i am not really satisfied and will never ever consider this hotel again for my future travels to London.

accomodation at S and D hotel

The room was not cleaned properly. A lot of dust behind table and under bed. First night in a room without accsess to fire exit. personal often unkind and not helpful.

Hotel from Hell !!

We arrived at the hotel at 3:00pm on Saturday to be shocked by the appalling standard of the hotel. Then came the shock of the bedrooms on your website is a picture of what looks like a lovely double bed with nice bedding and clean and tidy. Our room had two single beds and Bunk beds !! Our friends room had 5 single beds !! In our room the bed linen was ripped and the carpet was in need of a hoover. The carpet is also coming away from the wall. The shower tray was grubby and the soap already opened and used.
I apreciate you get what you pay for but this is below the level of decency. I stay round the corner on the Clarion Shaftesbury Hotel Hyde Park - with Last Minute.com and the hotel was out of the world the two do not compare and all for £5.00 more.
It ruined my weekend staying in this disgusting hotel and I was so embaressed that I had booked it for our firends. This hotel should be advertised as it truely is not with mis-leading photographes.
It still makes me feel all creepy thinking about it and I am sure the picture breaks advertising standards which I am going to look into today.
I think you should remove the hotel from your site or show pictures of what guests will be expected to stay in and also make it clear that it is dirty and disgisting to stay.
Please respnd to this email and advise what you are going to do about this Hotel and my miserable stay.
