Comfort Hotel Kensington

Friendly staff, helpful.Breakfast pleasant.
Good value for money. Hotel well placed for our activities.
Room small but adequate. Negative factor was strong smell of smoking in what was supposed to be a non-smoking room. I had to wash all clothing in case after returing home!

Not going back!

I was very disappointed with this hotel. First of all, it was overbooked, som I was sent to another hotel the first night, which was very inconvenient. The room I got the second night was OK, but the hotel elevators were out of order most of the time. It did not help much that the English spoken by the hotell staff was largely unintelligible.

Disappointing accomodation

Altough the location of this hotel is very good, the general standard of accomodation, cleanliness and service is well below average.
I have been a guest in various hotels around the world and the Comfort Inn Kensington is by no means a 3 star hotel.
This hotel boasts parking although on arrival I discovered that if a space is available on the busy main road it is only possible to park between 13.30 on a Saturday and all day on a Sunday.

The Comfort Inn Kensington as expected

Having stayed in London many times, the Comfort Inn Kensington was completely as expected. I only stayed one night and had an early departure so I didn't experience the breakfast or any other parts except the room.
