2 nights stay in room 430, 13 & 14 Apr 07
The rooms and passageways on the 4th floor were tired and in need of redecoration. The staff were very attentive and helpfull. Overall it provided a good value for money ratio.

ok nothing more
this hotel is ok, overpriced, very simple but clean rooms, no frills, video chanell option did not work (but cashed in the money), terrible breakfast buffet for extra 7.50. I advise anyone to have breakfast in one of the many cafes in the street. for the same price one can get a B&B with far better service.

Worst Travelodge EVER!
The rooms were filthy and there was no shampoo available. It was very noisy with doors banging all night and children running about the corridoors and the beds were very uncomfortable.
We use travelodge quite a lot for our staff who work all over the UK and also into Europe, I have to say that Kings Cross is by far the WORST we have ever stayed at and we will not be staying there again.

Travelodge Royal Scot @ King's Cross
The reception desk seemed easily confused, and there were one or two mix-ups, but the accommodation was very good, if you don't mind 'no frills'. Paying £70-80 per night should be the norm in London - Travelodge should be congratulated for this special offer!
