i have seen at an other discounter, that the same hotel (thistle victoria) was at the same time with the same conditions 100£ cheeper.

Thistle Victoria April 20th 2006

I had a minor complaint about the cracked tiles in the ensuite bathroom. The tiles had been cracked and I stepped on them with wet feet. This caused all the tiles to lift and I hurt my foot. I reported this to the hotel on departure.

Very convenient to the underground.Reasonably clean.Good value formoney. Excellent Breakfast. Iwould stay their again!

Toch wel een aanrader ...

+ Perfect location on top of Victoria station, fantastic lobby, great restaurant (and breakfast), friendly personnel, clean room, no disturbing sound from outside.
- rather small rooms (but I guess ok for the centre of London) and rather outdated interieur ("old" adds to the charm of this hotel, but some restaurations shouldn't be posphoned anymore). Inner walls not so soundproof.
Overall we would like to recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to move around London for a few days. Don't go for the rack prices however, they are to expensive. But we did have a great time and are looking forward to returning to the Thistle Victoria someday ... thanks all.

Thistle Victoria - very good value for money and very good located, direct next to victoria train station and tube.
Just one negative surprise at our last day, the car parking voucher turned out as an discount voucher only. This unpleasant expense left a bad memory - you better travel by train!
