How much for a smile ???
Your booking service was perfect but i cant believe how people working in hotel can be so unpleasant and unwelcoming. It seems that booking through a discount agency make us low class customers. Everyone there from the reception desk to the waiters in the breakfeast room were the same.

Change the staff and it's good
Location and hotel rooms were great, but the staff needs improvement! Also the continental breakfast is pretty poor but the breakfast staff makes it even worse. They didn't even try to make the guests feel welcome and sometimes they we're really rude (ignoring guests for example).

A pleasant surprise
I booked this hotel, despite reading several very negative reviews on Trip Advisor.com, because it was in the location I wanted and it presented excellent value.
Expecting the worst, I was pleasantly surprised with every aspect of the hotel. The welcome was enthusiastic and friendly, as were the front desk staff throughout my four-day stay. The room was of a reasonable size and beautifully decorated, with suede (or perhaps suede-effect) bedspread and headboard, the usual tea/coffee facilities, and in-room internet for a reasonable 2.99 a day (although local cafes also charge 1.00 an hour). The bathroom was fine, with a very good shower.
The bar area looked comfortable and welcoming, although I didn't use it, and the breakfast room was nicely decorated with the Eastern-European staff all attentive and - the word again - pleasant. The continental breakfast was adequate, but one day I upgraded to the full English breakfast for 4.50. That really is superb, with good sausages, thick bacon instead of that thin and brittle American rubbish, and even black pudding. The scrambled eggs were the clincher for me, as they were made with water instead of milk or egg powder. Just a personal preference, but something hard to find.
If there has to be any negative, it is the tiniest one. Breakfast during the week ends at 9.30, and I saw at least one couple disappointed. Tourists, if not business guests, would probably appreciate an extra 30 minutes.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
