We'll be back!

This hotel is very well appointed & provides excellent service with staff that are friendly & helpful.
The rooms are very comfortable & spacious & we had the most beautiful view across the river - it was like a stay on a cruise ship.

Old rooms, disconncted service from internet booking, tired building. More expensive through internet booking than direct.

Wonderful room great views. Appalling lift service. Waited 15 minutes and eventually had to walk up and down 9 floors. Appalling queues for breakfast even though restaurant was not full, would not stay there again.

Complaint

We had a very bad experience when we went to check in at the Hotel on 29 April around 5.30 p.m.in. Despite having your confirmation e-mail the Hotel reception refused to accept that as a booking as they said thay had no information of such a booking and were fully booked that night. We had to waiot in the reception area for about 40 minutes before they agreed to give us our rooms but took my credit card details in case they could not track you down. We were extremely disadvantaged as we were late for the Wedding reception which had started even before we could check in to our rooms.
We were also made to feel as if the fault was ours somehow as we had not done things right.
We checked with our credit card office who adviced that the money had been debited from our account on 10 April. I don't know whether it was your fault for not having informed them or their fault for not having that record. However, our evening was spoilt because of our disagreements and because we had to threaten to sue them before they would allow us our rooms which as far as we were concerned we had already paid for.
I would hope that you will look into this and let us know what went wrong. Otherwise this is really the last time that we are ever going to use yours or their services in the future.
