A mixed bag

We were offered this hotel as an alternative to the one we'd originally chosen. As it was a bit more expensive we expected it to be OK. Unfortunately, we too were given the infamous basement room no. 2. It was unbelievably small with no room for luggage, but the worst was the bathroom. Using the shower inevitably led to leakage into the room and the floor was already damp when we arrived. Microwave and the fridge were useless as the extension cord was too short. The breakfast was very basic, but otherwise OK. As our room was next to the kitchen we were awaken every morning at around 7 by the noise. Next day we requested another room, but none was vacant. We were then given a room on the 2nd floor which was almost twice the size, with proper bathroom and all. Alas, we only stayed for another night. The staff was friendly and cooperative. The location is OK, with bus stop just outside and Shepherd's Bush tube station 5 minutes away.

Westfield (Kensington) Suite Hotel

Good accomodation, small room, small breakfast, had a problem with the power while I stayed there staff were pleasant but slow to act on the problem
