Fantastic Location & Views, OK Rooms

The hotel is in a tall building, and I don't know, but I think rooms do not start until the 9th floor. That was when the lift indicated any kind of numbers. It is also, I think, a thin building, so you get a room with a view wherever you are placed. And London sitting below you as you look out, is a wonderful sight. We got a fantastic view from our room towards the west. With the steeple of All Souls Church and BBC Broadcasting House right next door (which I thought was cool), and restaurants, bars and, of course, Oxford-Circus around the corner for us to visit. The only thing that left it down was the quality of the rooms. A bit WORN. Dodgy double glazing, although actually that was fine with me because if you want cool air you can get it right away by just OPENING A WINDOW! What an innovation that is in modern hotels! Room also had aircon/heating to your temperature setting, so we had a CHOICE! I liked the hotel. The staff were friendly, efficient and relaxed. And everything worked and was solid. The shower was excellent too with plenty of pressure. Myself and my partner are definitely going back there again for a longer visit.

The room was very nice and very clean. We were on the 14th floor though, which was below the restaurant, and was a bit noisy!

Very little value for money!

The location is of course brilliant but: In our opinion the hotel needs a total makeover - seems nothing was touched for decades... In comparison with other London Hotels we got very little value for our money !
Sheets were shabby and breakfast buffet included bread which seemed several days old.
Not a positive experience at all, sorry to say.

A disgusting hotell full of bugs
