Modern Surprise

This brash looking hotel sits quietly between the A40 and the Carphone Warehouse HQ in the outskirts of Acton. Luckily for it, this is only about a 2 minute walk from North Acton tube station on the Central line. This means it sits either in the bracket of "nice to leave the city at the end of the evening", or "too far to be of use for popping back for a refresh twixt the day's shopping romp and the night's soiree".
The hotel shrieks modern, from entering the unassuming lobby and reception, through the open plan bar and restaurant and into the bedroom. It is here where the walk-in shower, minimalist decor and wooden flooring mix with simple-to-use internet access either through wifi, cable or the tv if you are 'laptopless'. Only grumble was the decor matched the choice of freeview channels.
Clean is the main positive word I would come away with. From room to bar, stairwell to restaurant cleanliness is always a bonus particularly for parents with small children.
The breakfast was superb, from choice to flavour and the self service meant you could eat at your own speed. For the younger of you, weekend breakfast didn't close until 11am! The hotel offers competative packages for those visiting attractions such as Thorpe Park, or the London Eye, and also offers use of a upmarket chain gym for only £5.
Would certainly recommend this hotel, provided you don't mind the 15 min tube ride into the West End and are happy the cost of the deal compensates for this.

What an outstanding hotel?

I had stayed in some of Ramada hotels but this one, Ramada Encore London West is the outstanding one I have enjoyed very much and will recommend for friends. The room is spacious and very neat. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It would be great if there is discount for family and also discount for meal. The only disadvantage that can prevent people to stay many nights would be charges of car park on a daily basis. I have always enjoyed car park facilites with other Ramada hotels namely Ramada in Conventry and Swansea.
