Having stayed at the hotel before we decided to stay there for our wedding anniversary. it was bit disappointing to find in our room a used sticking plaster on the floor beside the bed. Having said that it was possible to check-in in good time and although there was an initial confusion over the number of people the booking was for this was soon rectified thanks to the assistance of London Discount Hotels office. The room was otherwise comfortable and reasonably well equipped although there was no safe for valuables to be stored. The main lobby is smart and the reception staff pleasant but amongst the facilities there is only a sauna available for men. At breakfast there was a delay before tea and coffee arrived - only after asking if it could be provided. In summary we consider the accommodation to be more expensive than it merited.
