Hotels near Covent Garden

One of London's liveliest and tourist friendly areas. Covent Garden used to be a market supplying fruit and vegetables to Westminster Abbey and was the largest wholesaler market of its kind at the time. Covent Garden now is a popular place both during the day and in the evenings with it's piazza and large pedestrian area. The former market buildings now house many different shops, restaurants, street cafes and a small market with stalls selling jewellery, bags and all manner of bric-a-brac. With its cobbled side streets, Covent Garden has fine cuisine, trendy cafes and, of course, it's famous street theatre.
