No complaints. Very enjoyable stay.
I had a room next to the lift shaft that creaked loudly on every use from a full hotel. By midnight I\'d had enough as I had a conference the next day and got another room which was better. The first room was not up to standard and cold but the second was much better.
I was expecting a full English breakfast but was told in the restaurant to report back to reception as breakfast voucher was wrong and should be continental.
I have booked with London Discount Hotels before and always had an excellent service and hotel but this hotel was lacking and although was a bargain price as usual through LDH wasn\'t worth what I paid for it.
This was purely the Travelodge hotel itself and not London Discount Hotels who I will definitely book with again.
I have stayed here several times. It is not a great hotel but extremely good value for money and perfectly adequate for a night or two if luxury is not what you are looking for. For what it sets out to achieve, I would recommend it.
Basic room with a bed and a table (no chair), and average quality shower/bathroom. 10 minutes walk from the nearest tube station, but plenty of buses available. Lifts were broken (on one occasion) so I had to use the fire escape stairs to get to my 3rd floor.
We were very impressed by the staff - all staff members we met were extremely friendly and helpful.
The breakfast is so terrible.
Fine, convenient, helpful staff
The rooms and passageways on the 4th floor were tired and in need of redecoration. The staff were very attentive and helpfull. Overall it provided a good value for money ratio.
this hotel is ok, overpriced, very simple but clean rooms, no frills, video chanell option did not work (but cashed in the money), terrible breakfast buffet for extra 7.50. I advise anyone to have breakfast in one of the many cafes in the street. for the same price one can get a B&B with far better service.
The reception desk seemed easily confused, and there were one or two mix-ups, but the accommodation was very good, if you don\'t mind \'no frills\'. Paying £70-80 per night should be the norm in London - Travelodge should be congratulated for this special offer!
I remember the Royal Scot before it was a Travel lodge.Atleast now it does not pretend to be anything other than basic accomodation. As such it is OK- clean, and reasonably comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful
The arrangement and the services have been fine however I thought that the price included breakfast (as noted in the confirmation letter) which turned out to be not.
