the hotel is quite basic though the staff are very polite and it represents good value for money its certainly not the hilton but what do you expect when your travelling on a budget overall good service and cosy.

"Worst experience of a hotel stay ever!"

I couldn\'t even call a-z a hotel. It was awful  there was something seedy about it.  Even when we got to the room we didn\'t feel safe and weren\'t sure if the door was secure enough once inside.  The room was also very hot luckily we had a fan but just didn\'t feel comfortable.  Wanted a shower later in the evening there was no soap.  We had a bottle of wine and had been provided with only one glass.  Will never go back there again.  We also did not stay there the night just didnt feel comfortable.  Was gonna ask for my money back!  Any reply to that?

"Basic hotel with friendly service"

We were greeted with a friendly and polite reception. The room was very small with basic furniture but bed linen clean. Ensuite shower room extremely small and it was awkward to use the sink with the door closed. Fresh clean towels daily. 1 mile from nearest tube station but bus stop very near and getting into central london easy. Breakfast consisted of toast with small quantity of butter and marmalade and a mug of tea or coffee. However for the low cost of this accomodation no more was to be expected. Personnel were all very polite and friendly.

The A to Z Hotel provided us with a cheap and effective means of  accomodation during our short stay in London.We are Kiwis.The staff were polite and helpful and provided great service looking after our extra luggage whilst we did an overnight trip to Paris.The idea of the next food bar providing free breakfast with unlimited toasts was novel and appreciated.Thank you A to Z for accomodating us in London.

To be able to buy a cup of tea from the shop nexy door at night would be nice he would make 50p percup he makes one in the morning for us but not at night

I\'d rather pay 5 quid more a night but at least I don\'t need to freeze because the windows aren\'t even sealing properly and the overal impression was very bad indeed. I wanted to stay at someting basic for a basic price but this cannot get anyway near that.

this was for my husband 70th birthday present-we have stayed in lots of hotels and this was not it was a b/b not even tea makeing in rooms- yes bed was clean it was a single room with double bed no room to move -and breakfast toast and jam and mug of tea at the use of take away place -not jocks cafe no review on computer has had update-and to far to walk from underground -bus every time and we left early a real let down-and money not at all well spent and we saved for this as to o a p can ill afford to be rip of.

This hotel was amazing value at only £40 a night for a double room. Obviously very basic but very friendly staff. I would stay again if I was in the area
