Complaint!

I do have a complaint actually which I made to the hotel but they said they could do nothing about it. My daughter and I stayed in room 359 and at about midnight it started to rain. The noise from the drainpipe outside our window was deafening and neither my daughter nor I slept at all. I called reception just after 1 am to complain and they said the hotel was full so we couldn't change room and then in the morning when I complained I was told the drainpipe belonged to the building next door so nothing could be done! I was offered no compensation for our lack of sleep and my daughter and I then had to go to meet with the Duke of Edinburgh feeling very tired indeed! We had booked to stay overnight in London so that we could go to ST James's Palace well rested and this ended up not being the case at all!!

When I arrived at the hotel I was given a single room when I had booked a double. As i was with my girlfreind I also received some cheeky comments from the receptionist (Mr Ally) presuming I would not be making it up for breakfast! Although the matter was resumed by phoning you on sunday night this was not appreciated.

disappointing breakfast

Very friendly staff but breakfast poor. Croissants odd tasting-coffee from a machine. Room very small looking out onto a brick wall. Normal rate £140 seems exhorbitant even taking into account London prices.
