Stansted is a London's fourth airport and is located in the county of Hertfordshire some 40 miles outside of London. Initially a regional airport, with the boom of low cost carriers, Stansted has seen immense growth in the last ten years and has attracted all the major carriers who operate to all corners of Europe from Stansted Airport. By road, you can reach the airport on the M11 motorway and by public transport, the quickest route to Stansted Airport is to take the Stansted Express train from Liverpool Street Station which takes ca. 45 minutes. The terminal at the airport is modern and offers an excellent choice of shops, bars and restaurants.
