You cant beat this for value and accessability. My package, I discovered, included continental breakfast. I think I would hvae been more than a bit disapointed if I had paid £7.95 for it on top. You can get a very decent full english in central London for this. Having said this I have stayed before and would definitely stay again. It is great value

We enjoyed the room, and the bathroom facilities were quite all right. It was very comfortable to have a pub for food and drinks within the building. The only negative thing is that there were a lot of groups who were rather noisy in between their rooms.

Cramped room that needed 2 feet more in length and width. Poor pillows, even after asking for second one.
Breakfast limited but croissant was the best that we had ever tasted. Satisfactory for one night at reasonably cheap rate.

The accomodation and the service personell was good. The main problem was the toilet which was quite smelly and unbearable. The reason could be for lack of ventilation and the cabin made of plastic retained the bad smell. The ventilation needs improving and the plastic needs to be desinfected with a strong detergent which will dispel bad smells.

I requested a quiet room at my booking but had a lengthy argument after being given a very noisy room near the main road and elevator - after an hour (not 5 minutes) it was resolved!
They requested my credit card at check in but refused to return the print of it at checkout as well as to give me any receipt - it was refused as I did not have any additional charges. What is going on there?

very clean hotel,nice staff, will recomend hotel for any one going to excel centre its so close.

Bed fine. Room warm. Disappointed with en suite as a bit like a cabin on a ferry and not really like a hotel but good value nevertheless so would use again for convenience to Docklands.

Handy for Excel.
Clean, tidy small room. (Rooms in Ibis and Novotel are bigger).
Good shower, plenty of hot water. Reasonable bar.
Staff member on duty at the door of the breakfast room was rude and unhelpful. Breakfast is a typical hotel standard. (Worse than Novotel, better than Ibis).
Would probably stay here again.

The room was acceptable for the price paid - clean and well presented.
The \'continental breakfast\' was not of an acceptable standard; slices of ham, sticks of cheese and a choice of yoghurt would not be the sum of breakfast found in a French or German hotel, in my experience. The only bread available was a poor quality thin sliced loaf; hardly continental!
The staff were polite and helpful, particularly those on reception.

The service was very good. Rooms were cleaned every day and sheets and towels were changed regularly.
The hotel is just opposite to Custom House DLR station, so we could enjoy a really efficient rail link with the city and the central zones of London.
Tea and coffee making facility was quite dirty and full of limestone incrustation, so it was necessary a better check by the hotel.
The price includes a continental breakfast buffet, while a typical english breakfast buffet is aviable at 3£ extra each time.

The corridors are a bit grim, but everything else about this hotel was clean and comfortable. I\'d had a bad journey - so it was a relief to arrive. The only mistake I made was to go the wrong dining room for breakfast. The \'full english\' I wanted was served elsewhere. I\'ll know next time.

The hotel was clean and cheap! Unfortunately the Pub was shut for refurbishment which we were not aware of? If you are on a tight budget then this place is ideal.

I had left a piece of my luggage - a white jumper - in my room, which I had instructed the reception to be packed into my suitcase along with the rest of my stuff. I realised only after I reached my home destination that the jumper was missing. I would like to have it retrieved as soon as possible.

Custom House Hotel is very clean and comfortable and the staff on reception are very helpful.
I was dissaponted in the breakfeast as there where only two toasters and one type of cold meat.
The connection to the underground on the DLR trains was
excellent.
