Originating from a travelling show of caravans in the late 1700's, in 1835 Madame Tussaud settled into the Bazaar in Baker Street.
Since those days, her magical collection of wax figures have delighted and amazed visitors from all over the world, moving to Marylebone Road in 1884 where the present site is still located.

THE TOWER OF LONDON: private tour avoiding the crowds
Following our coach drive past some of Londons most famous landmarks including Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament we arrive at the Tower of London where we are met on the middle drawbridge by our very own Yeoman Warder. Leading us into this world heritage site before it opens to the public our Beefeater will take us on a private guided tour explaining the history behind this fortress of imprisonment and torture. we are also the first group to see the Crown Jewels before enjoying some free time to explore on our own. Why not visit Traitors Gate, the armouries or the Bloody Tower? And keep an eye out for the famous Ravens. Tradition has it that if the Ravens leave the Tower the monarch will fall!
CHANGING OF THE GUARD*
Departing from the Tower we head to The Mall to watch the Changing of the Guard ceremony as one of the Queens Foot Guard Household Regiments march from St. James Palace to Buckingham Palace to military music dressed in their world famous tunics and busbies.
THAMES RIVER CRUISE & PUB LUNCH
Next we enjoy a short cruise on the River Thames as we enjoy excellent views of St. Pauls Cathedral and Shakespeares Globe before heading for a traditional pub lunch on the Southbank (food/drink not included)
WESTMINSTER ABBEY**
Your afternoon tour begins with a visit to Westminster Abbey. With our fast entry voucher you will enjoy priority access. You will be presented with a unique pageant of British history - the Confessors Shrine, the burial places of Britains Kings and Queens, and numerous memorials to the famed and the great. Your guide will lead you through this architectural masterpiece which has been the venue for every Coronation since 1066 as well as for numerous Royal occasions, as for the royal wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana.
AFTERNOON TEA AT HARRODS
You will then be heading through Knightsbridge to Harrods, one of the worlds most famous stores. Sit back and reflect on the impressions gathered during the day while being served tea and scones at the Terrace Bar and Restaurant at Harrods. Tea time includes tea, scones, jam and clotted cream. Afterwards, Harrods waits for you to be explored!
*If the Changing of the Guard is not taking place you will still see Buckingham Palace and then visit the Horse Guards Parade **If the Abbey is closed at weekends. due to services, we enjoy a waling tour of Parliament Square with photo stops at Big Ben and Downing Street or visit St Pauls Cathedral.

Enjoy American Diner at it's best at the Hard Rock Café London on Old Park Lane, the one where it all started in the seventies. Back in these times, Eric Clapton liked to have a bite at this American diner in London called the Hard Rock Cafe and got friends with the founders, the two young Americans Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton. The now extensive collection of Rock Music memorabilia comprising items from legends as Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, U2, Lenny Kravitz and many more started off with Clapton's Lead II Fender - given to the Hard Rock Café and put up on the wall to reserve his seat at the busy bar.
