Great location, room fine, however the shower had EXTREMLY low pressure and took a long time to get hot. The toilet also took approximately half an hour to refill after each time it was flushed!

Helpful and friendly staff. Room very basic. Breakfast included with room could be more substantial.

Many other accomodations near by are coming at the same cost but much better facilities

The Lancaster Court hotel was clean and had good sized rooms and was good for a comfortable one night stay on the budget that we had set with a very friendly welcome. However, the lack of hot water in the evening was not enjoyable and neither was the continental (toast and jam) breakfast served in the morning. The plug sockets falling off the wall was also a slight worry.
Overall the Hotel is in a very good location with 5 minutes walk from Paddington Station, it is a clean and safe environment, and a good place to stay if only for a couple of nights.

1. It is a smokee free hotel, and I have nothing against that as such, but I think this information should be on the site in order to avoid surprises.
2.According to the site, it is perhaps the only hotel without 24/24 reception. That is why I did not want it at first, because it created the impression that the doors closed at a given hour.Well, there is always a night porter, and therefore I think you should mention that on the site. (btw : isn\'t that what you mean by 24/24 ?)
3.I solved that \"problem \"by giving them a call. It would have been nice , though,if their phone number had been on the site. International phone numbers are not always easy to get...
4.Very clean hotel with very nice people. Please send them my regards.

Thank you for your kind co-operation during my stay in London. My accomodation was comfortable,clean, and spacious. However, my shower,was cold on both mornings, even though a staff member came to adjust it, this is ok in summertime,when temperatures are high and humid but it would freeze a customer during the wintertime. I found the staff very helpful, and pleasant with my requests.

The room was very basic and small, furniture and flooring in need of some updating. However, the room was clean, bedding & towels were clean and fresh, the ensuite though small was presentable and very clean. Breakfast very disappointing it states continental but basically a few slices of toast and jam, orange juice and a coffee. Pleasant enough staff, polite attitude. For London cheap at £75 for room but not a room you\'d want if on business or to spend a nice break in London, no home comforts.
