The hotel is clean and nice good location food good and the room service staff are excellent. although they missed my breakfast order 2 days in a row.however they corrected it well and fast.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Russell. The accommodation was as good as expected and the location was ideal for getting around central london on foot. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was in excellent condition. We had several TV channels and plenty of storage space.

We stayed at the Russell because it was central for going to We Will Rock You for my 50th Birthday treat. The hotel was basic, but clean. However at around 5am a fan started up somewhere and kept us awake. Would use this hotel again, though.

This was generally a satisfactory stay. The bedroom and ensuite bathroom were in good shape with good fixtures and fittings that worked (all too unusual in hotels in this range!), with better complementary toiletries than the norm. Breakfast arrangements and variety was good. If there is an empty fridge, it would have been nice to find fresh milk in it and not to have to endure long-life. There was no bottled water in our room, although we saw it was on the housekeeping trollies. We were on the last minute when we departed and it was irritating to have to wait for 4 minutes for the concierge to return so that we could get our luggage. But in general this was very good value for money.

I enjoyed staying at the Hotel Russell, Good Value at London Discount prices.
The Hotel is convenient to Euston, Kings Cross, British Museum etc and is within 60yds of the Tube.
The rooms were clean and the staff were helpful.
A real bonus was the bedroom air-conditioning during this very hot and humid spell.
My only complaint would be that, they need air-con in the breakfast room and public areas as well

An excellent hotel with old fashioned grandeur and polite staff. The room was clean and comfortable (if a little dark?) and the breakfast set me up for the rest of day. I would certainly stay here again.
