Arrived at around 22:00h. Our first impression was not the best since in spite of being the only guests at the front desk at that time we had to wait for over 5 minutes to be greeted as the only receptionist available picked up a call after saying hello and got carried away in the conversation delaying our check-in. Considering the importance of this process we thought it wasn´t handled in the best of manners. Having said this we were gladly surprised with other services received such as breakfast and concierge specially. A very helpful and professional young man went the extra mile to assist us with all sorts of information. Free wifi would be a determining plus.

I was pleased with the cleanliness of the room. The service was good. One slight problem was that there was no toilet paper in the bathroom! I reported this at the desk as I left.

The hotel was fine although when we arrived there were only two smoking rooms left which we had to take being non smokers this was the only unpleasant part of the stay. when i booked through yourselves i don\'t think it stipulated non smoking and smoking preferences but i think this is something to think about in the future.

room adequate but basic -our room noisy in early morning (4.30 onwards ) with noise of trains despite special sound proof measures - staff pleasant and helpful - if you are having breakfast then either go very early or after 8.30 as bus tour residents all descend for breakfast at same time resulting in long wait for lifts and long queues for breakfast - in future I would check other hotels around if visiting area as not quite up to standard we expected

Me and my son booked in ahead of the match at Twickenham. Fast check in even though we were early. Room very clean although a little concerend about the plastic bag tied round the smoke alarm.
Pleasant and helpful staff.
Train station very close and 5 mins from Twickenham. Son and his partner booked in again for next weekend.

We were very pleased with this hotel and the service we received. From the outside it doesn\'t look like much, but the inside is clean and updated. The staff was courtious and professional.... they also have a concierge on staff.
Great location, just minutes from the train station.

Although I and my son only stayed one night, we were both very satisfied with the accommodation and service. The rooms were clean, modern and well maintained. Also, when it seemed that some jewelry had been lost and could not be found in the room, the duty manager was extremely helpful and courteous, despite my insisting and believing that they \'must\' be on the premises. The items were later found elsewhere, but I was very impressed by the manager\'s calm and professional approach at the time. The breakfast had been advertised as \'continental\', but in the event there was a complete range of fruit and cooked foods available, with the fastest and most effective hotel toaster I have come across! Maybe we hit a lucky day/night (it was Christmas day), but this was good quality accommodation, worth recommending.

I have stayed at the St Giles on previous occasions because it is convenient for one of my company\'s clients based in Hounslow. The fact that I return indicates my degree of satisfaction. The rooms are perfectly adequate for an overnight stay, and the bar and restaurant add a good atmosphere.

The room was very basic.. the remote control disapeared... No mini bar, no room service. As a woman on her own two things are luxury.. breakfast in bed and mini bar so you don\'t have to eat alone and site in bar on own... I wont be returning to St Giles Hotel.

Very enjoyable and satisfyingf stay again.
And very efficient, as on the Thursday morning i was unable to lock my door. Within 5 minutes the maintenance manager was present and allowed me the option of leaving and ensured everything was safe.

Had a very relaxing time in the hotel, staff very polite and helpful, the evening meal was excellent for the money and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. The only minor thing in our room was the lack of towels but our friends who stayed on other floors had plenty.
