Always good value for money and well placed in London

The hotel hesperia was quite nice, i think for the price breakfast should have been included. The staff were always very friendly and accomodating. We did ask for a double bed and got twin beds but didn\'t bother making a fuss. The room was clean and functional. Last time we stayed in london we stayed at the strand palace which we thought was a lot better value at 149.00 with excellent breakfast and bigger room.

Consistently good standard, quiet(even when Spain won the World Cup), and a pleasant experience in a superbly convenient location.

Good hotel, well located/excellent breakfast

Excellent position, excellent service.

Hesperia is a reasonably good hotel at a reasonable price through LDH and in a very accessible position near Victoria station. Everyone was very polite, helpful, and the facilities are modern, basic but efficient. I was in a rather small single room but it was perfectly adequate, very clean, tidy and comfortable. I\'d go back there at this room rate.

Excellent location and the breakfast, althoug buffet style, was very good. Said in the info it was Continental but cooked breakfast was part of buffet. The bed was king size,large and conformatble. If you want a straight forward accommodation, highly recommended.

Fantastic location - we stayed in a room opposite Victoria train station, which was a little noisy, but didn't bother us as heavy sleepers. Excellent comfortable, clean and modern room. Delicious, fast room service although could have had a little more selection. Friendly and efficient service throughout. We would definitely stay again.

I could not get the bath water to run hot at 05 hrs Tuseday 18th Sept: The hand baisin water was OK. The bath water was hot after 06.30 hrs but it was slow. Everything else about the hotel was good with friendly fast service at breakfast. The checking out at 08.30 hours was a bit slow.

Around the corner from Victoria station, really a great location and excellent hotel. Very courteous and helpful staff, new facility, comfortable. Be sure to ask for a room on the side facing away from the station.

Nice design features and the decore in the room. SKY TV was useful, Extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work though. Found the iron useful in the room instead of having to hunt one down.
Breakfast was superb. Huge range to satisy anybody.
If I'm in the area I would deffinately stay again.

This hotel is perfectly situated for a disabled person to explore the sights of London without using the underground. The wheelchair access to the hotel was down a side path which wasn\'t particularly pleasant and the door was locked most of the time anyway. The staff were helpful but a ramp inside down the 3 steps
to reception would be much better. The lifts were a good size and the room had plenty of room for a wheelchair. Good points were
1. Space of room and clear floorspace
2. No carpet (easier to manouver)
3. Large bathroom/wetroom with sliding doors
4. Clean bedding and V comfortable
5. Safe with combination lock
6. Excellent buffet breakfasts and service
7. Helpful staff.
8. Plenty of hanging space, albeit in front of the mirror !
9. Location for theatres and bus/train excellent.
10. Decent size Lifts for wheelchair and at least 3 people.
11. Spy hole in room door at wheelchair height.
Downsides
1. Wheelchair access into hotel not pleasant.
2. Room heating controls. Cold in evenings even on full setting.
3. No where to hang towels to dry
4. Only One drawer for 2 people to use.
5. One small half cupboard for clothes.
6. Only one bedside lamp
7. Walls in room could do with painting.
8. smoke alarm hanging off the ceiling.
9. No disabled access for use of pool
10. shower stool provided in poor repair and for
light use only.
11. No where to put toiletries when in the shower.
I would possibly stay there again if the price is
not prohibitive. It's location is it's biggest selling point.

I was really impressed by the style of the hotel and the service provided by the staff. The breakfast selection was really good too. Overall I would say that the value for money was excellent.
The hotel may be stiuated right behind Victoria Station, but we were not disturbed by any noise etc. as a result of this. The location was fantastic for us as we had booked to see a show at the Victoria Palace Theatre which was literally 5 mins walk away.
My only critcisms would be that late at night when using the toilets nearest to the bar, on a couple of occasions these were not in a very good state as they were being used by people who were attending a private function, and obviously a bit worse for wear due to the consumption of alcohol! And on a couple of occasions our key cards would not let us into our rooms and we were told that we had to go to reception to get them \'recharged\' which was a bit strange.

I had a medical emergency and was not helped at all by management of the hotel

The hotel is in a geat location and was very easy to find. The standard of the rooms was very good and the staff were warm and friendly. I certainly would stay there again.

The staff is not so professional as I imagined for a 4 star hotel. At the arrival they gave us a not done room (dirty toilet and not done beds), afterwords they changed us the room. On the second day of stay (we booked for 4 days) somebody cancelled our magnetic key and checked us out. Enough?

Very enjoyable stay would most definitely stay at the Hesperia if coming to London again.

Nice hotel in a good location. Rooms very pleasant but our air conditioning was not working properly so room was very warm. Also I had used the recommended car park and the staff had said I needed to show my hotel invoice to get a 50% discount. Not true, the receptionist should have given me a validation ticket. This resulted in the hotel having to refund me £15 as I had to pay the full price to retrieve my car. Not happy!!!

Very impressed with decor, ambience, standards of cleanliness and comfort. I stay over in London usually two nights per week and this will continue for at least 18 months on this present contract with DCA. Unfortunately I can mostly get a room at the Thistle Victoria for £88 which is within my capped rate and the Hesperia is above so can only use when I cannot find cheaper accommodation. Do you give discount to regular visitors that would make it affordable?
