Friendly Hotel 30/03/2015
6/10Liked our room on top floor facing the garden. It was quiet and cosy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast room and lounge were welcoming. Hotel right at Earls Court tube station.

Good hotel, great location 04/03/2014
8/10A friend & I stayed a couple of nights. All Staff extremely friendly & helpful, beds very comfortable, room quiet other than a hum outside from what we think were air conditioning units (I always use ear plugs anyway). Lighting was a dead loss for doing makeup even in the bathroom and a towel rail opposite the basin is needed. The Dove soap dispenser was stiff- good thing I brought soap. Plenty of good options for breakfast

4/10Hard to have a decent shower as hot water very difficult to get; very dirty curtains and not fitted properly so no way to make the room dark at night; windows barely closing. Breakfast ok. Very average to poor hotel.

London Break 11/08/2013
6/10The hotel is in a good location and very close to tube station. The staff are lovely. Our triple room consisted of a small double bed and camp bed placed at the end of it. There isn't a proper wardrobe but there is a cupboard with a microwave, sink and fridge in it.The carpet looks old and room is a bit dingy. There is a lot of street noise from a hostel across the road. The room is very cramped for three adults. The bathroom is adequate. There are lovely restaurants nearby.

Unbearable hot room without air conditioning - 12 July 2013
4/10Though the location was good the room was lacking air conditioning and during my five day stay there the housekeeper changed the sheets only twice

Somewhat squashed and a bit strange
6/10We had a room for 3 people. There were 3 single beds in a row, but it was very cramped and there was hardly any room for us to go past the other beds to visit the bathroom. Experience as a limbo dancer or contortionist would have helped! The bathroom was very cramped, although clean. The room was in the basement and the staircase from the ground floor was a bit scary, particularly the first couple of steps. The window didn't open and we were reduced to opening a small patch of a sealed-up door (hinged) for fresh air, as it was rather stuffy without doing so. Traffic noise was quite bad and caused us all disturbed sleep. The steps to the main door were a bit dangerous as they were not clearly distinguishable from each other, particularly as it was raining. Breakfast was included, and was OK although the coffee was rather bitter. Also, there was honey and 2 sorts of jam but no marmalade - a bit odd, really.

Great Hotel
8/10Great hotel situated in a lovely part of London we have not visited before. Hotel was very clean staff very helpful and food very good. So convenient to the overground/underground station about 4-5 minutes away. Would definitely stay here again.

Good hotel
10/10I stay there every time I go to London and find it very conveniently situated. I also appreciate the fact that there are no big groups and I like the room decor.

6/10Although the overall quality of the hotel was good one of the rooms had a strong smell of cigarettes which even with the windows open would not disperse. It might have been helpful if we had been advised that we were to be given a smoking room as most hotels nowadays have smoking and nonsmoking rooms

Chiswick Moran Hotel
8/10The room was fantastically decorated and had the feel of a luxurious hotel. Great colour scheme, funky lights, furniture, carpets and lots of mirrors. There was even a plasma tele. One thing missing - a mirror on the dressing table. A couple of things let it down, there was a strange whistling noise coming from the window, on windy nights this would be really annoying. Secondly, in bathroom from time-to-time there you could here a loud flushing sound followed by a smell of raw sewage, not sure where it was coming from, but needs to be looked at. The breakfast was really nice and the staff friendly.

What I think
8/10Nice modern hotel with "designer" rooms, big bar, good breakfast but restaurant staff not too up on British customs = ketchup and brown sauce should be available by the buffet!

Chiswick Moran Hotel, London
6/10The Chiswick Moran Hotel was a convenient base for a friend's wedding at Chiswick Town Hall on Saturday. The London Discount Hotel deal made it very affordable, and it seemed like great value for money.
The hotel interiors are well designed and comfortable, and the room was fantastic, however the comfort and standard of the interior design was let down in a few areas as follows:
- the staff on the front desk during the day seemed moody
- the room service was extremely over priced - we paid £40 for 3 not very special sandwiches and 2 bottles of water!
- On arriving back at the hotel at 12:30am after the wedding we were hoping that there would be a quiet bar area for a night cap. Instead we were suprised to find that the bar was packed with people out for a saturday night, with very loud music playing (which could be heard from our room on the 3rd floor). We asked the member of staff at the front desk whether there was a quiet area for a drink, and he said that the noisy bar was our only option.
- The breakfast service the following morning seemed to be quite disorganised, and the food from the buffet (bacon + eggs etc) was cold.

Good Review
8/10Excellent accommodation and good decor. Lighting system in bathroom a bit dim when on full and thermostat system set on too hot, which I was not able to lower during the night. All staff dealings excellent.

Bar Area
8/10The overall quality and service of the hotel was very good. I was disappointed when requiring service from the bar area for brunch. The staff were not 100% familiar with the options available, plus there was a language barrier, not only between customer and client, but between the bar staff and kitchen staff to which I was exposed to. NOT GOOD.

Chiswick Moran Hotel
8/10Having stayed at this hotel twice before and paying full price direct to hotel this visit was no different than before but we saved £130 on three night deal. The Chiswick Moran is a very nice hotel, we use it because our son lives in Chiswick and it is very close to underground station.
