Q: What does it mean that a room is on request?
A. It means that we do not have immediate availability for the requested room, and we have to check directly with the hotel whether they can meet your request and offer our contracted rate. In the event that this is not possible, we will email you an alternative hotel offer according to your initial request. As our alternative offer is not binding, you can just reject it and the amount charged will be refunded in full to your credit card/bank account.

Q: Which room types do you offer?
A. The hotel room types used by London-Discount-Hotel.com are as follows:
■ Single room: Contains one single bed. Suitable for one person.
■ Twin room: Contains two single beds in the same room. Suitable for two people.
■ Double room: Contains one double bed. Suitable for one or two people.
■ Double room for sole use: Contains one double bed, to be occupied by one person.
■ Triple room: Three single beds (or one double and one single bed) in the same room, one of which may be a pull down or roll away bed. Suitable for three people.
■ Quad room: Four single beds or two double beds or one double and two single beds, beds can also be bunk or sofa beds. Suitable for four people.
■ Extra bed: suitable for a child under the age of 18 years.

Cot, cradle or crib: Cot, cradle or crib suitable for a child under the age of two years.

Q: How much is your discount?
A. Our discount varies from hotel to hotel. The room rate discount is calculated in comparison to the hotels’ rack rates. The rack rate is the published full price of a hotel room a hotel charges the customer if he/she walked into the hotel off the street asking for a room.

Q: Is my personal and credit card information safe?
A. The London-Discount-Hotel.com site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. We use Secure Socket Layers (SSL) to ensure the privacy of the information provided to us and at no time are your debit/credit card details transmitted unencrypted over the internet.

Q: My booking – is it guaranteed?
A. London-Discount-Hotel.com bookings are confirmed to you as soon as your credit card transaction is approved.

Q: How do I change an existing booking?
A: Email or fax us as soon as possible to [email protected] or to +44 (0) 20 7730 7413, however last-minute prices are not always available and charges for the administration and cancellation penalties may be applied.

Q: If I need to cancel my booking what do I do?
A: Cancellations to confirmed bookings are subject to the following conditions: Any cancellation to a reservation for which we have sent you a booking confirmation, must be made in writing to London-Discount-Hotel.com by email to [email protected] or by fax to +44 (0) 20 7730 7413.

Any hotel cancellation received by London-Discount-Hotel.com after we have confirmed your booking and before the date on which you booked to arrive at the accommodation where EITHER the number of rooms (irrespective of room type) OR the number of nights decreases, will be charged as below (unless otherwise stated on our hotel product page):

In addition to the above, we reserve the right to charge 2% of the total value of the booking to cover credit card charges.

If you do not arrive at the accommodation on the date on which you booked to arrive or you leave the accommodation earlier than the date on which you booked to leave, then you will only be entitled to cancel or amend the booking from the time when London-Discount-Hotel.com receives notification from you during London-Discount-Hotel.com working hours (Monday – Friday 9:30am – 5:00pm UK local time).

All such cancellations are subject to you incurring the charge for the next twenty-four hours accommodation after the London-Discount-Hotel.com receipt of notification.

In the case of restaurant, sightseeing and transfer bookings, you should appear at the venue punctually and as per the booked time. Should you not be punctual for whatever reason, the tour, car or boat may depart and/or the restaurant table will be released and no refund will be made.

Cancellations notified directly to the hotel or our other suppliers will not be effective. Requests for cancellations must be made in writing via London-Discount-Hotel.com by email to [email protected] or by fax to +44 (0) 20 7730 7413 and the date of receipt of such written cancellation shall be deemed the date of cancellation.
