Good clean hotel . Walkable from St Pancras/ Kings Cross/ Euston. 30 min walk from Tottenham Court Road / Oxford Street. 5 min to the tube. Easy to find. Comfortable rooms.

Ambassadors in Bloomsbury was fantastic! It is modern and extremely clean. I did have to work out the handbasin worked. The reception and serving staff were so courteous and helpful. The breakfast was good value. Surprisingly quiet place and yet central. Dominic

my stay at the ambassardors

this is such a lovely hotel and it is in fact my second stay at the hotel in 4 months. it newly refurbished and has elegant surroundings. the room its self was clean and quite open. plenty of room for two people in a double room. maybe could do with more hanging space and shelves in a bathroom but it was only an overnight stay so suited us just fine. the only unexpected thing was a £50 deposit that had to be left at reception durning the stay and was insisted it was left on a credit card as appose a debit card...why im still not too sure about. i didn't say anything about that in the small print but i ended up paying it cash and recieved the full amount back after our stay. all in all it was perfectly enjoyable stay and easy to get to and very central.

Descent Stay

Pleasant staff and location. Small but clean. Unfortunately for someone who is hearing impaired one cannot go above 30 with the volume on the TV.

Lovely Hotel!!

Our stay was very pleasant. Hotel is stylish, modern and our room was on the 5th floor with a lovely arched window. Although the room was on the small side and there is no much of a wardrobe, it is enough for a 1 to 2 night stay. Breakfast was grand - everything you could wish for (well apart from smell of the kippers - not sure who eats fish for breakfast?!). Air con unit was a bit noisy, but did sort itself out 2nd night. Lovely hotel - but by all means not cheap! Would stay again.

A good find and so convenient

The hotel has recently been refurbished, is light, airy with up to the minute decor and simple, modern furnishings. The rooms are small but for a tourist hotel they are very comfortable, clean, bright, up to the minute with flat screen wall mounted tv and air conditioning, which worked! The en-suite shower rooms or wet rooms are again small but with up to date fitments. The staff were smart, friendly and very helpful and the biggest bonus of all - breakfast was served through to 12 noon - how civilised on a Sunday morning.

Rooms were clean, modern and well presented. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection was large and of a good standard. Great location. Would certainly recommend if you get a good rate.

Firstly thanks to Gisella at the London Discount Hotel team for helping me with this booking. Hotel was wonderful, staff polite and efficient, room lovely and clean, food delicious! We would definately recommend and would book again, we had a fab weekend and saw a great show ( The Harder they come - at the playhouse theatre )

Nicely Finished

The Ambassador was a very nice hotel overall. Staff were very helpful, on the front desk, room service and at breakfast the nxt morning. (Which was also very nice) The room was quite small however it was exremely nice. Location close to both Euston Train stateion and Euston Sq. tube station is very easy to access. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is pricey, but someone please find me a nicer hotel for less. Thanks

The room was small by American standards and the bathroom was especially tiny and very difficult to use. The shower stall, for example, was not a stall at all but simply a shower head and curtain. The result: whenever taking a shower the entire bathroom became flooded and unusuable for the next hour. The included breakfast was an excellent feature.

Nice rooms in central London

The rooms at Ambassadors were really fresh. We enjoyed it alot. They are very small, but all new. Perfect if you are not planning to stay in your room, but still like to shower in a good looking bathroom. It was a good traditional English breakfast, and polite and serviceminded personnel.

Excellent value and location

The hotel is undergoing refurbishment, however all of the rooms are finished and although compact, they are clean and and have all you need for a short break. The location is good, just inside the congestion charge area so worth timing your arrival. The staff were extremely friendly. I would positively recommend
