The Generator London
Our stay was absolutely fantastic. On arrival even though we were early we were allowed to go to our room and breakfast was provided. the reception staff were so nice and friendly. Everything was great except for finding someones socks under the bed. The room was clean and spacious. There was a great atmosphere and the free drink was appreciated. The breakfast was fabulous and such choice! Will definitely stay there whenever i am In London and have already told my friends. Security was good and such a central location! Thanks for a wonderful time!

Too noisy !!
We were not going to make friend or party around, but still even though we were, it was too noisy and we couldn't sleep. The wall and the door seemed to be thic, but still it was really noisy. It was not place to sleep. And the reception didn't know that we have payed. The bread tasted bad. I can't call it breakfast. It was expencive. I'd rather staying b&b with 10pounds more high price. Anyway it was really noisy place. If it was not noisy, maybe I could stand.

Good Buy
The Generator provides cheap lodgings for young people who are happy with minimal luxury. The personnel is friendly, the rooms are clean, and so are the toilets and washing facilities. To the north of the City, it is close to theatres, discos and railway stations. And you have plenty of opportunity to meet other people of all nationalities.

strange but nice place
The friend who was with me certainly would have preferred a place with not just a washbasin inside the room (showers and rooms were sometimes slightly cold). But this is a hostel, and even though I had no previous hostel experience, I found it nice and clean. The modern public internet and breakfast rooms, the bar turning into a sort of disco at night, make me think I could probably return to The Generator.
