The Holiday Inn Bloomsbury is located in Bloomsbury close to Russell Square underground station and within walking distance of Oxford Street, Covent Garden and the British Museum.
On average the rooms are medium, most in very good condition and the bathrooms are in fair condition.
The the hotel's restaurant has subtly partitioned off areas offering a little more privacy. It is decorated in bright colors with distinct oriental influences.
The Hotel is a modern building with a red brick and glass facade and the lobby is large and light due to an unusual skylight above the reception desk, a pale colour scheme and light wooden paneling are used in the decor.
This is a good quality hotel, ideal or those wishing to stay in the hub of the capital.

Two things 01/09/2014
The location of this hotel is fantastic. The staff are very nice. All things considered should be a good experience. I had two things happen that made my experience not so good. i was on the 5th floor and from the rooms all around me there was noise. Not jsut one room multiple. People loudly talking in the hall. Playing with their doors. In one room someone was crying. Another room there was sex. All this noise went on until 2 a.m. Not all at once but in a sequence, so not the most restful night sleep. As i checked out the next day I told the front desk staff. She said there were lots of other complaints and there had been even there that night so probably the source of the late night noise. I was tired, but was not bothered more at this point. I left my bag after check out to go see a museum. I came back in a hurry because i was late for the airport. I got my bag no problem, but I got out the door and realized the wheel, wheelguard adn wheel well had been ripped off my case. if i wasn't late I would have been right back to talk to the front desk. I then had to take the tube to Heathrow express to Heathrow, and then Schiphol train tram and home with a broken case, and yesterday 31 August was my birthday, so the lack of sleep and broken case didn't make it the best day. I think you all have a nice hotel. Very friendly staff. I just didn't have the best experience because of these two things. Thanks for asking for my feedback
