Review
The Rembrandt hotel was lovely and did offer value for money. There was a fire door located just outside our room (room666). This was closed late at night until the following morning. I woke in the middle of the night one night to the sound of a door banging closed. I thought it was our door of the room so I jumped up and looked out into the hall. It was in fact a staff member having gone through the door letting it shut very loudly. My only comment would be that the staff member in question had obviously forgotten that we were all asleep at that hour of the night and maybe to move a bit quieter in the interest of the sleeping guests.

Enjoyable stay at the Rembrandt
The hotel was perfectly situated opposite the museum, close to Harrods and Hyde Park. Our room was really pleasant and very quiet. The staff were excellent as was the breakfast. Particularly enjoyed the chance to relax with tea by the fire and the little touches like hand cream in the ladies!

Staff were courteous, rooms were very clean, breakfast was wonderful. As a Company, we would definitely book again and as individuals we would also book.

Our one night stay - 3rd December, 2008
The reception area and staff were excellent - as good as anywhere. The breakfast was also very good. However we found the room somewhat small, with no proper draw storage for clothes. Also we asked for a double bed and got two singles for our wedding anniversary! Also the room was a little on the cool side with no option for warming it up. But we enjoyed our stay and thought the central London location excellent and would certainly revisit once the building works are finished and we can ensure we can get a bigger room with a double bed.

Comfort in a perfect location
A stylish and comfortable hotel just opposite the V&A. Depsite the busy road, the rooms are quiet. They are also nicely furnished with really nice bathrooms and lovely soft linen. There used to be a car park just behind the hotel - now the nearest one is just a few streets away. Good breakfast, which includes porridge and fruit (always a plus for me).

Sunday Breakfast
We enjoyed our stay with you a great deal. All your staff were very kind and helpful. My only comment to you is that we found your restaurant to be under staffed for breakfast on the Sunday morning. It took a long time to get tea and coffee and an extra setting. for the breakfast. Regards Mrs Braham.

Smoking
I think that the lounge is unfairly used as regards to smoking as myself and husband had to sit in the front lobby where it was rather chilly. I dont see why people who do not smoke should have to do this. Also the Carvery is very good value within the hotel

a very nice lobby, but the non smoking room I booked was not available, and finally I had to go on a very small room.
