Walking distance to paddington station 25/01/2015
Great location, close to Oxford street, we were given an " upgraded " room upon arrival ( extra bed for the same price), in the attic, opposite the main street ( so no noise) nice lobby, reasonable breakfast, quite Clean, helpful staff, the room would have benefited from some repair ( bathroom door), bathroom was smelly upon arrival ( about 7 pm). All in all not a bad choice for visiting London

Family Trip 20/12/2014
Great location as only a five minute walk from Paddington station. Reception staff friendly and help full. We had three double rooms booked. Two were fine but the third was very small with hardly any space around the bed. The rooms were clean and the en _suite was very clean with a lovely hot shower. We all enjoyed the continental breakfast , the Danish pastries were fresh and some of the best we have had. We would stay again as for a budget hotel for one or two nights its fine.

Family Vacation 03/07/2013
Smallish rooms, but, in general clean and adequate. Continental breakfast met my expectations. Only one elevator was operating. Conveniently located to the Underground and Bus Lines. If you want a place to sleep at night, this will serve your purpose. Staff was helpful. Good value for the money.

Good Visit
This hotel was okay, the service was good and the staff very friendly, only disappointment was that the bar in the hotel was closed so no chance of having a quite drink before you go out for the night. Hotel very close to Paddington underground which lets you get access to all of London. Overall I would say good.

Review of Royal Eagle Hotel
The hotel was easy to find and well located for transport links. Close by therte were lots of good value / variety restaurants. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful and parking was easy and good value at side of hotel. Room was small but clean and suited us well ...nice that its non-smoking. Continental breakfast offered good selection and breakfast restaurant was clean, quite spacious and organised. We stayed at the hotel because it was close to St Marys hospital but will use it again as a base for site seeing etc on our next trip to London. A good choice.

Royal Eagle Hotel Paddington
A perfectly adequate and comfortable hotel. Some refurbishment work taking place (July 07) but unobtrusive and only likely to improve the accommodation yet further. Staff very friendly and helpful though the bar wasn't open this wasn't a problem to me personally. Some traffic and underground noise but with a room on the 4th floor this was hardly noticable. Continental breakfast included was staightforward with all the essentials.

Royal Eagle 4th to 8th August 2006
Dear Sir or Madam, the Royal Eagle was not what we had really expected. Though the price booking by internet was ok (292 Pounds for 4 nights), but in my opinion the quality of the room (104) and the breakfast wasn´t value for the money. Noisy environment (underground could be felt every some minutes driving under or near the hotel). Black mouldy shower facilities, not properly working bathroom door (was also not in good shape), very very basic breakfast and dropping water through the ceiling of some levels to the breakfast room (in the basement). Towels were cleaned every day though we signed no necessity. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room itself was clean. Because of all this we won´t be staying in the Royal Eagle Hotel in the future again (hopefully not all hotels in the 3-star-class are like this). As a quality manager I would appriciate a report of you about an analysis and the taken measures - ok? Thank you very much and best regards Tom Siebrecht.
