Great stay! 09/12/13
My friend and I stayed here on the 7th November for 1 night, the location was fab, lots of bars and restaurants near by, and bayswater tube station 2 mins away! Nice decoration and good room space (we had a twin double) front desk staff where efficient and helpful. will rebook here for our next visit.

A Nice Surprise
After some concerns after reading other reviews on this hotel we decided to book as we were looking for a hotel that was near to the Albert Hall and the museums, this fitted our requirement. We arrived early and were just looking to drop our bag off, the staff on reception were very helpfull and checked us in straight away. We had a nice room in the basement it was very clean and adequate for our needs ( 1 night stay). All the staff were very friendly and helpfull. We went out for a few hours and on our return to the room we were greeted with a bottle of complimentary wine (one of the receptionists had noticed that it was my birthday) a nice touch I thought. In the morning we had a nice buffet english breakfast and the staff were once again very helfull on our check out. In all we were very happy and would certainly look to go back again next time we are staying in London

make sure you get larger room with aircon and water pressure!
I just returned from the troy hotel, london. the initial room i had was on the fifth floor and there was no water pressure, it was also so tiny that i could barely move without banging myself, also the room had no aircon and was very stuffy. when i asked them to fix the water pressure they immediately moved me into a different room where it was larger the shower was great (for small people only) and to my surprise i also had aircon. the floorboards however are very creaky and on the last night i didn't sleep at all due to a guy being unwell above me and getting out of bed every ten minutes. It's a good hotel for a single with a low budget but would not recommend for a couple/family, it is worth spending more and getting a regular hotel.

Troy Hotel
We only stayed one night and were out most of the evening. The staff were friendly and helpful and overall things were pretty good. Only mild criticisms were that there was no soap in the room so we had to request it, and Channel Five didn't work, but other than that it was a very pleasant stay.

Something smele
Air in the room was too bad. I felt a kind of SICK BUILDING SYNDROME. Except for the above was very good.

Second time as good as the first
Another week staying at the Troy Hotel, and still impressed with the simple quality they achieve, making this one of the best places to stay in Bayswater
